I actually made a passably decent bellydance top out of a stretch velvet shrug i bought at target. I added sleeves, got rid of some of the tacky lace, sewed an old kuchi necklace to the hemline... it looks pretty ok.

I was going to try and make a choli (I had not dark colors & didn't want to wear a t-shirty thing)... And decided that was more complicated than what i felt like doing (to get fit etc)

I'm really excited/ hyper about tommorow! :)
